Ah! Great question. I had really specific instructions on this one, part of which included a lot of ambiguity. Which is why I uploaded a larger version than I normally would---so people could get a better idea of the characters.
On the left is a young, clean-shaven Master (Delgado), a younger version of Susan (Score, you!), and the Prydonian is the Doctor (Hartnell). Mr. Shaw's ideas for the cover consisted of those specifics---but also that we play a little extra slight of hand by giving the 1st Doctor the recorder, and making sure that the TARDIS was a more 'generalized' non-specific version. His plan was to get fans guessing in the hopes the mystery would be enough to want to read it to see. Was a brilliant strategy, really.
Oooh that is clever. An unshaven Delgado, wow. Can the universe handle that. So it is a brilliant strategy. Anything harking back to old Who. Can I read this?
Definitely. The link is in the description. Just click the word "Setting Stones"... should bring you right there. Not sure that I particularly like that website's background for reading (the stars are a bit distracting) but it's an excellent story!
